Public Parking

Parking is available on the street surrounding the Capitol. Be aware of timed parking limits in some areas. ADA parking is available in the front of the Capitol building and on the north side of the Herschler Building. The public may also use the state parking lot located at the corner of 25th Street and Pioneer Ave, which also has ADA parking available. Visitors can enter the building from the south off of 24th Street.

Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

ADA Access & Elevators

ADA entrances can be accessed from the southeast garden level door, northwest garden level door, and the north first floor door. Elevators are located on the east and west wings of every floor of the Capitol.

Public Restrooms

Public Restrooms are located on the east and west wing of every floor of the Capitol, except the second floor during the legislative session. Nursing rooms are available in the Herschler Building West and East restrooms. Vending machines are located in the Capitol Extension.

Self-Guided Tours

The Capitol Square is open for self-guided tours Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Throughout the Capitol Square visitors are invited to watch a cell phone video tour.
